A month ago, LYFF made our debut at “the biggest cat-centric, pop culture event in the world dedicated to all things feline”—that’s right, we made it to CatCon 2024. Our two key takeaways? We loved every minute of it (and every one of you we met), and we’ll be back!
Part of what we enjoyed so much about the event was that everyone there—other rescues and non-profits, vendors big and small, influencers, and regular people—had the same baseline: we want to help cats. And love on them. And celebrate them. We’re ALL crazy cat ladies at CatCon, and it doesn’t bother us one bit.
Another part of what made CatCon so special for the LYFF team was the enthusiasm everyone had for our newest “adoptable cats,” our LYFF Rescue Riders. These small, stuffed kitties are made to perch on your shoulder, and we were thrilled when they became one of the hits of CatCon. Just ask Sterling “TrapKing” Davis and Jae and Adrienne, the Two Crazy Cat Ladies, who loved them, too!
In fact, LYFF’s Rescue Riders became so popular that we sold out halfway through day two after dozens of people searched the convention floor for our booth. That’s when we decided we had to make them available after the show.
